Stems Market offers full service wedding flowers for events that come in all shapes and sizes. This means that based on your color, flower, style and budget choices we will design your wedding flowers. This might include a bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, table centerpieces, toss bouquets, aisle flowers or any other floral needs your wedding might have. Your wedding will then be designed on our design studio by our Stems Design Team specifically for your special day. Your flowers will be ready for pick up the day of your Wedding. You will designate someone to come and pick them up from Stems Market. (This is a great role for a family friend or one of the ushers or groomsman to do). Your wedding flowers will come in vases situated in a custom Stems Crate for safe transportation. All the corsages and boutonnieres will labeled and in a plastic bags with pins.

Yeah we admit we’re there too, but our goal is to make sure we are spot on with our flower design and direction. We make it our mission to supply the most knowledgeable answers to your questions, freshest beautiful flowers and passionate design based on what you want and whats hot.

Please share with us any inspiration images you may have collected during your planning process. Maybe you have images from Instagram, Pinterest, a friends wedding, or even from some ideas you have scratched on a random piece of paper share them!! We will pass them along to our designers so they can be sure to match the look and feel that you are looking for. Or, if you have no idea where to start or what your style is, start here~our inspire section~filled with Stems Weddings past work to start sparking your inspiration.

Our team of flower and event experts will work with you to discuss all your ideas, inspiration and dreams at your personal consultation. You will receive an invitation to Stems flower planning web-based app, which allows you to take all of these images and upload them to your own personal log-in page. These images get seen by our entire team ensuring that your inspiration is noted through out the whole process. So get started, looking, styling and dreaming!!
Consultations
If you are still in the dreaming, planning, color and dress deciding stage you are not quite ready for a wedding consultation. We do however encourage you to stop by the store and take a look around. It can be inspiring to look at natural flower colors, textures and sizes. You can always view our online catalog 24/7 for individual flowers or at our pass work in our inspire gallery.

Now if you have your dress or you have finalized your wedding colors and your wedding is within the next 3-12months away you are ready to schedule a wedding consult. Just go to our event consultation sign up to schedule your consultation. Browse the calendar for available consultation time slots. Available time slots will be shown in green. To reserve a time slot, click on the green available day of your choice and proceed to follow the instructions.

If your wedding is within the next 4-12 weeks (and there is NOT an available consultation date 4 weeks prior to your event) please call the Market at 616-534-8650. We have many options for you, our market is full every week with a wide selection of seasonal fresh flowers that we bring in weekly from farms around the world. You will work with one of our Stems team members to create a custom wedding that is based on your items, size and color palate. Once we know your needs, budget and schedule our designers will work on selecting the perfect blooms from our wide selection of flowers within the market, that will surely meet your wedding day expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay my $100.00 deposit?

You can make your $100.00 deposit by coming in the store, mailing us a check, or calling the store at 616-534-8650 with a credit card.

When are payments due?

Your $100.00 deposit is due to reserve your wedding date. Your next payment of 50% of your total balance will be due approximately 4 weeks before your wedding date. The remaining balance is then due by the day of pick up. If your wedding date is near a major floral holiday like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, the 50% payment may be required a little sooner. Your consultant can give you exact dates for that payment.

How do I view my itemized quote?

When you are on the homepage of your bridal portal, there is a section called My Quote/Billing (in the upper right corner on a computer, down near the bottom of the page on the mobile version). The View My Quote button is at the bottom of this section in orange text.

How do I make changes to my quote?

Please send a message to your consultant through the messaging feature on My Flower Planner with the changes you would like made. If you add a new inspiration photo, please send us a message letting us know what the new photo is called.

Approximately how big are my bouquets?

Each bouquet is unique, depending on the style and flowers that go into each bouquet, the size can vary depending on the design. On average, our bridal bouquets are about 10-12″ in diameter (about the size of a dinner plate) and our bridesmaid bouquets are about 6-8″ in diameter (about the size of a salad plate).
