HOW DOES STEMS DELIVERED WORK?
It’s super simple and kinda like ordering a pizza, You Order, We Deliver. Log on to our website click on the “Stems Delivered” link and browse the designs of the week. Choose the design of your liking and add it to your cart. That’s it, give us delivery information and card message if desired and check out securely with your credit card.
Helpful Ordering Notes?
- Free Delivery will not show in your cart until you fill out your address information
- If your billing address is different than your send to address, you will want to check the box for a different ship to address
- When choosing a delivery time, we will attempt to be as close as possible to your desired time, but due to other deliveries the actual time of delivery could vary.
NOTE: If the recipient is not home, we may leave flowers outside on a door step (weather permitting) and call you, the purchaser, to notify you. If we are unsuccessful reaching a recipient, you the purchaser will be responsible to pick up your flowers from Stems Market.

For Stems Free Standard Delivery area, you must order by 2pm for same day delivery, Monday-Friday. Please Note that our Drivers Deliver between 11am-4pm (Monday-Friday)
For Stems Free Extended Delivery area you must order by 11am to guarantee same day delivery. Please Note that our Drivers Deliver between 11am-5pm (Monday-Friday)
If you need delivery by a specific time of day, you can select the guaranteed time window option for a $10 or $5 fee.**Availability may vary on holidays, please check with our office for current time window availability** Please note that the majority of our deliveries take place between 11am-5pm.
In regards to a Sympathy Arrangement, If you need a delivery before 11am you must order the business day (Monday-Friday) prior to the needed delivery. If Delivery is to a Church for a service only, please provide service time and/or when the building will be open to accepting flowers.

Do you accept orders by website only?
We prefer to accept orders through our website to ensure you can quickly, easily, and accurately place your order. We do however also accept phone orders and walk-in orders.

Can I send to more than one recipient per order?
To ensure accurate delivery to each recipient you must have one transaction per order.

How does your Extended Delivery area work?
For Stems Extended Delivery area you must order the previous business day by 1:00pm for next business day delivery. For example if you need your flowers delivered on Tuesday, you must order them on Monday by 1:00pm.
A $3 – $5 dollar delivery fee may apply for the Zip codes below.

Does my extended area delivery still include free standard shipping?
Yes it does! We ask that you place any to an extended area by 11am to receive same day delivery.
What is the cut off time for same Day delivery?

Can I pick a specific Delivery time?
You can select a guaranteed ‘delivery by’ option, and we will prioritize your delivery. We offer by 11am – $10, or by 2pm- $5.

What if my flowers are for a funeral?
We are happy to accommodate sympathy arrangements, but please keep in mind the following information to ensure timely delivery.
If you have an early Monday Morning Delivery Need, please call the Market (616) 534-8650 During business hours to ensure delivery.
You must order by 2:00pm for Same Day Delivery. Please Note that our Drivers Deliver between 11am-5pm (Monday-Friday)
If Delivery is to a Church for service only, Churches have very limited hours, so please provide service time and/or when the building will be open to accepting flowers.
Please provide the Deceased’s Name (so the funeral home it able to put the arrangement with the correct services) and ANY service times, regardless of location.
What happens to the flowers if no one is home?
If no one is able to receive the delivered flowers we will attempt to deliver them on the next available business day. If you choose, and if the weather permits, we may leave the flowers on the porch for the returning receiver. If they are unable to receive them on the next available business day and we didn’t leave it on the porch, we will keep the flowers at Stems market where they can be picked up at any time.
How do you deliver to apartments?
We will attempt to deliver it into apartments. It is best if you let the recipient know that they will be receiving flowers so they can the delivery driver into the building. If we are unable to give the flowers to the recipient, we will bring them back to stems.
Do you notify me after the flowers are delivered?
We do send out emails with delivery confirmation the next business day.
What funeral homes do you deliver to?

Can I customize a bouquet?
Every Stems Signature bouquet is created by one of our talented Stems Design team members with only the freshest stems. We do allow color choices to be made, but we cannot customize orders with specific flower choices. This ensures that only the freshest seasonal product is used to create your bouquet.
If I don’t choose a vase what are my flowers wrapped in?
Our Stems Signature Hand Tied Bouquets are wrapped in our Signature Brown Paper.
What kind of vase will my flowers come in?
Our vases are clear glass, or white/grey vases and hand selected to beautifully display your specific size bouquet.
How do I care for my Flowers?
• Keep your vase water clean.
• Your Flowers love clean water! No need to add any “home-made” substitute for flower food such as aspirin, soda pop, or bleach.
• Be careful not to place flowers in direct sunlight, near a heat register, or near any other source of excessive heat.
How do I care for my succulents?
Water: Succulents store water in their leaves and stems, so they like their soil on the dryer side. Avoid over watering and drainage holes are a must for longevity. Water only when soil is completely dry. Usually one good soak every week is plenty.
Sun: Succulents do love the sun, so try to place in an area where your succulents can bask in some sunlight daily.
Soil: For containers, cactus specific blend potting soil is best.
How long should my flowers last?
Our flowers are brought in right from the flower farms and we will use only the freshest product available for your bouquet, but we cannot guarantee the exact life-span of a flower. Each individual flower has its own shelf life and is impacted by temperature and environmental factors and your bouquet will be no different. As flowers start to wilt or die just pull them out of the bouquet, give the vase some fresh water and continue to enjoy the remaining flowers.
If for some reason you feel that your bouquet should have lasted longer, please reach out to us and we would love to make it right.
Do I need to give my flowers a fresh cut when I get them?
No your flowers were just recently cut and they should be just fine. Keeping your vase water fresh and clean is the best practice for bouquet longevity.

How long have you been in business?
Stems Market was started in May of 2010. Our owners Andy and Jeff both have over 25 years in the floral industry.

Can I order a Bridal Bouquet?
We do not offer custom bridal bouquets through Stems Delivery. However, the delivery bouquets can be used in any way you’d like. Trimming the stems and adding ribbon could make our delivery bouquets just right for any celebration.
Do you ship flowers?
Please give our office a call at 616-534-8650 to see if shipping is an option as it varies based on location, and what type and quantity of flowers you are looking for. Take a look at our ship catalogue where we offer bulk flower shipping. Unfortunately, we are not able to send pre-made bouquets beyond our current available zip codes.
